ArchiMac BBS is the first Mac BBS in Turkey with a network connection and the first on earth to serve the archives and records management profession. It is still unique in these aspects. It happens to be the web server for these pages, too.
Like a typical BBS, (see the Concept page for more details) ArchiMac carries both a files and a conference area.
The files area carries some outdated Mac software (see the history page for the reasons) and MSWord copies of the articles by Bekir Kemal Ataman as well as the back issues of the Archimedia journal, in case you would need them for any reason. Be warned, however, that these are copyright material and that you need to get the author's/publisher's permission to use them.
The conference area, on the other hand, carry the messages sent to mailing lists on archives and records management, listed on the mailing lists page. However, due to a legislation change introduced in 2002 that holds the system admin responsible for anything that appears on web pages, this section is now closed to public access. Sorry about that!
